Never lose your wits

Anureeta was a 10 years old girl and she was fond of her mother. She stayed with her invariably and never left her even for a while.

One day she and her mother had gone to a market for purchasing some vegetables.  But on the way, she was fascinated by the charm of the market place and as a result, she lost hold of her mother. Everything turned out quite dreadful to her.  She started sobbing. Apparently, a stranger heard her yelling and asked the reason.

She told that she had lost hold of her mother. The stranger considered it as an opportunity and tried to get hold of her. Comprehending the prospective danger, she recollected the thoughts of her mum who always taught her to shriek loudly whenever she felt any danger. She caught hold of her wits and screamed loudly. Within a minute a mob was gathered and the stranger escaped.

Now Anureeta was safe. In the meanwhile, the mother also reached there and started scolding her but later when she knew about it, she felt proud of her daughter.

Moral - Never lose your wits even in trouble.

Religious Intolerance in India

Religious intolerance is quite prominent in our country India these days and it is just because of our confined set of mind. Gone are the days when people were showing respect for different religions. But now everyone is fighting for petty issues. It seems we are quite childish because our wisdom and rationality of thoughts are being consumed by our dogmatic beliefs. Every day in the newspapers, we read the news highlighting the quarrels of people on the basis of religion, castes, and reigns. It is one of the dreadful things which is blurring the image of our society.

So, being a citizen of India, we must develop a deep insight so that we can analyse ourselves. A sincere effort must be accomplished as the cause of intolerance is our ignorance.  First and foremost, religious books must be introduced to the students. Let it be the part of their curriculum. Let them comprehend the crux of every religion and let them develop a deep sense of respect for all of the religions, only then the feeling of religious intolerance can be circumvented.

Secondly, we should avoid those people who are orthodox as they often generate the seeds of religious intolerance. But still, we can't say that we can circumvent it completely because the roots of religious intolerance are deep-rooted in our society and we can see it when the people are discussing their beliefs and doctrines and easily being provoked when someone criticizes them.

There was a time when India was considered as the symbol of tolerance but now it becomes the symbol of intolerance. Therefore, it is required to study the books of different religions. And the first thing which we have to do is to implement it in our daily lives.

Thus it is crystal clear that the feeling of religious intolerance can only be stopped if we start implementing its deep messages.

A Brave Boy

Rohit was a young boy of 20 years.  His father was a poor man who could not afford to pay his college fees. Contrary to it, Rohit was a promising and bright lad who wanted to continue his studies and do something remarkable to win recognition far and wide. He was also having a philanthropic nature and therefore, always desired to put extra endeavours for helping others.

One day he was feeling quite gloomy as he had not got good marks in his house exams. Sensitive as he was, therefore, he felt quite bad. His friend Arun suggested him not to be worried as it was because of his part-time job. Those days, he was doing extra work for his earnings.  But apparently, they saw some terrorists who were armed with the latest weapons rounded up about thirty college students. Rohit was feeling benumbed. He had lost his wits and couldn't comprehend what to do.

Still, he made up his mind to do something for the sake of students. Swifty, he ran and started looking for help. His friend Arun warned him to escape from there but he refused to do so. He was quite determined and focused. Bravely he rashed there so that he could save those students. While he was on his way, some police officers and security guards on duty had seen that.

Understanding the need of the hour, they swiftly ran towards him. In the meanwhile, Arun called at the helpline number. Within two minutes all of the cops arrived there. All of them were equipped with sophisticated guns and firearms. But during the time span of two minutes, Rohit was shot dead by the terrorists. Two more police officers were also brutally killed by them. But it was just because of their fortitude that the lives of those college students were saved. All the terrorists were grabbed and Rohit became an immortal figure now.

Moral - Your deeds can give you true fame.

Weird

It is often seen that the sentence *it is seen* is considered wrong but if we study voice then we will come to know *that that sentence* is written in the passive voice in which the object is hidden and the sentence is the passive voice of present indefinite sentence. Now someone can ask why that and that is repeated twice. Then my answer is:

Direct speech:
We will come to know, "This sentence is written in the passive voice."

Indirect Speech:
We will come to know that that sentence is written in the passive voice.

Now, you may perhaps ask why the tense is not changed then my answer is that is because the reported verb is in the future tense.

Barriers of language learning

Many a time, I got a thought in my mind why the people of India aren't having much fluency in the language English in comparison to the Native English speakers. Why are we facing lots of problems for enhancing our English Speaking Skills? And why all of us are becoming desperately mad for the language English? None of the countrymen can be found pathetically freak in comparison to Indians.

As per my retrospection and life experience, I have observed the following causes which circumscribe us to learn this language:

1. We are too much grammar freak.

2. Though we can't speak or write properly but we are always ready to find out others' errors and we provide these services at free of cost where on the other hand, the foreigners emphasised the spoken part and often ignore the grammatical errors which provide them with a free environment to explore themselves.

3. We emphasise much in writing and reading skills and avoid the importance of listening and speaking skills.

Language is just like a journey, and it can't be done until and unless you don't start it. So just explore yourself without fear and fatigue.

Thank You

Robocop - movie review

Alex Murphy, the main character of the story having a splendid and magnificent will power to find out his own criminals.  Though half-robot and human he was, still, the human feeling prevailed in his newly transformed personality.  He is marvellously having the strength of a machine and the emotions of a human being.  The movie exhibited a unique example of science fiction and also left a hope that in the futuristic society science can change a physically dilapidated man into a half-machine with a feeling of mindfulness.

The movie also presented the dark side of human persona I.e. dominated by greed, malevolence, and materialistic set of mind projecting the self-centric approach.  It was observed in this movie that the above negative traits were quite prominent in us.  But still, we can see the light in the darkness when we synthesise the character of a compassionate doctor who proved that benevolence, generosity, and kind-heartedness still dwelled in many of the people.

The hero of the story, later being transformed into a RoboCop, had given a tremendous example of fortitude, valour and bravery.  It was quite inspirational when we saw a robot having only 2% of the human brain left took hold of his newly incarnated body and also further his steps towards his criminals.

In one word, I can conclude this movie is having emotions rapped in science.

English - its meaning and origin

May 11, 2019

The word English can be used in both of the ways as an Adjective or as a Noun.
For the people of England, the English word is used, and here it is an Adjective because it is telling the specific quality of a person. But when we are talking about their language English then it is a noun *, For instance,:* The people of Punjab are called Punjabi and their language is remarkably known as Punjabi. In the same way, the people of England are called *The English* and their language is also known as *the English language.*

I hope it is the finest example.

Analysis of the news - Eco-friendly elections - need of the hour

Area- Eco-friendly Elections - need of the hour

The Article is basically emphasising the need of Eco-friendly campaigning for the elections.

Title - Adhere to green protocol for Eco-friendly Elections

Publication Information -  This Article was published on Monday, April 22, 2019, in the column of *Ludhiana Tribune* on the occasion of *The Earth Day*.

Statement of the topic and purpose

The statement of the topic is Adhering to green protocol for Eco - friendly Elections and its purpose is to let the politicians be aware of some Eco-friendly ways campaigns as the old campaigning system produces lots of plastic waste.  The Author has given a very systematic and practical implementation of Eco-friendly elections by using the power of the Election Commission.  He emphasised the use of recyclable materials and Social Media.

The Title of the Article indicates that the writer wants to adopt the new innovative methods for the campaigning of the Election.

Description and Summary

India is considered to be the largest democracy in the world where the election is common and routine phenomena.  During the Election, parties use a lot of materials for the campaigns.  But these materials aren't Eco-friendly. Therefore, the recyclable materials need to be used and in case any party or candidate refuse to use it then it should be banned for contesting.

Social Media can also be used as a good alternative for the campaign as the age-old method of campaign creates lots and lots of attic wastes.

Moreover, the traditional ways of campaigning can only cater a few people, whereas the use of social media can connect these parties and leaders to the young voters who play a decisive role in electing the government.  And this is a good way to shun the use of plastic.

So keeping in view of the cleanliness and the environment, only eco-friendly material should to used by the political parties.

Interpretation and Evaluation

This Article is giving a new insight for conducting political campaigning before the elections and it can be the best solution for shunning the uses of plastic because it is quite dreadful for our environment.  The Author has given the multiple ways of election campaigns like through using the recyclable materials and social media.  He has given the ground level solution of the problem by using the powers of the Election Commission.

The use of social media can definitely be a good idea as these days all of the people are quite active in it and moreover, the use of social media can help them to spread their agenda in a comprehensive and effective manner.

Taxation is good or bad(Debate) - Against the motion

Good Morning honourable judges, my worthy opponents, faculty members and audience, I (Abc) hereby humbly express my thanks for your interest in the topic.
As previously stated I am hereby standing to concrete my views AGAINST the motion and if I have your permission I would like to begin by saying that Taxation is a curse for our Society. My dear audience, we all know that taxation is just a curse for our country as our money is being misused by the politicians and the high officials. But I am not saying that all are the same but many of them are having the same set of mind. The middle class and lower-middle-class people are desperately engulfed under the prison of taxation. They are misusing the money of these people in a very malicious and callous manner and it is resulting in them in the devastating state because these common people are having want of money. Therefore, It becomes extremely difficult for these people to survive as they are not given any facilities to them.

-What would be the use of taxation if it is not benefited to the poor class, lower-middle-class family?

-How can they survive if their diligent endeavours are put in the wrong direction?

-How can we be a great economy if the politicians are just using the money of taxation for their personal cause?

It is time to introspect.

It is time to retrospect.

Introspection is required as only then we can comprehend the blunders we have done due to our ignorance and retrospection is required as only then we can understand the past follies.

Judicious and respected audience, we must analyse the above questions in a proper manner because up till now we are just in a deep sleep.  Yes, we are in the sleep of absurdities.

And those who are favouring the taxation, they are just favouring the politicians.

Thus, in the end, I just want to conclude my lines through this poem:

Don't suck the blood of the common men
Don't kill the dreams of the common men
Don't call yourself the white men

As thou are the men with malevolence
As thou are the men with malevolence

So wipe out this system
So wipe out this system

Thank you
